To see what I can do for you, please visit the page that best matches your requirements. If you’re unsure, or your needs don’t seem to match any of these descriptions, please contact me about what you’re looking for. I can also help other types of customers as well as publishers and other businesses, such as public-sector and non-governmental organisations, researchers and bloggers.
Subjects
My specialisms are listed on the About me page, but I can work with nearly any subject. Although knowledge of the subject matter often helps, it isn’t always essential. (I usually avoid legal and medical material, which I think is best left to the experts because of the extra risks associated with missing or creating errors.)
What I don’t do
In case of any doubt, here are some things that are not normally included in my work:
- Writing or full-scale rewriting
- High-level assessments, such as a manuscript appraisal
- Comprehensive fact-checking (although I will highlight or check anything that I suspect to be wrong, based on my existing knowledge)
Working with me
After you get in touch about some potential work, how will things unfold from there? This blog post tells you all about it, and the How I do it page explains how I go about my editing and proofreading work. The Fees page covers how my services are priced and how you can pay for them.
Protecting your data
I’m well aware of the importance of safeguarding your data, and of the legislation about this. The Data protection page outlines my approach. For website privacy and security issues, I also have a Cookie policy.
